Paseo Senter wins the Structures 2007 Affordable Housing Development of the Year ...
Charities Housing is pleased to announce that Paseo Senter has been awarded the Structures 2007 Affordable Housing Development of the Year by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
Paseo
Senter at Coyote Creek is a multi-family rental housing development located
south of the Rockspring neighborhood in the City of San Jose. The two-phased
housing development will contain over 218 units in four stories surrounding
two parking garages. The concept of the development is centered along a
central spine. The residential common areas and spaces for supportive services
will line the central paseo. The envisioned supportive uses include facilities
for a licensed childcare, after school programs and a grandparent care program, native Indian library and classrooms.
The paseo will also link residents with open spaces to the rear. The rear
of the property is adjacent to Coyote Creek where the City plans to expand
Coyote Creek Park and Kelly Park and integrate the park system into the
neighborhood which will further enhance the vitality of the development.
CONSTRUCTION STATUS: Paseo Senter began construction in March, 2006. Phase II opened May 1, 2008. Applications are no longer being accepted and a wait list has been established.
